It arrives late, well into June. Horses are ready for the green pastures. Humans are ready for the enhanced connections with the herd, time to ride, time not to ride and just ‘be’. I’m focused on a fine balance between training and fun. Training to make sure horses are safe and sane for the tasks asked of them this summer–whether it’s lessons in the arena or explorations on familiar or new trails.
